Island Focus co. ltd, a privately owned company, trading under Emotions Destination Management was created in 2012, inspired by one vision.
With a lack of niche & upmarket DMC on the island, there was an opportunity to position ourselves as a leader in that segment.
Guided by passion, experience and savoir-faire, we have quickly become the Go to DMC for handcrafted services on our island.
The concept was built around the five senses and we have created a unique pioneer concierge service as a DMC.
The three main perspectives within our business concept encompass:
• Inbound ground handling services including transfers as well as tours and hand-crafted circuits carried out on exclusive basis only, as well as ensuring customer care services in-situ and post trip.
• Providing for bespoke concierge service.
• Acting as a ‘One Stop Shop’ for our trade stakeholders by providing them with the possibility to book ground handling services, concierge facilities as well as booking for accommodation with one entity only, thus facilitating the booking experience as well as ensuring thorough customer follow up.
Beginning 2018, we launched our new corporate branding identity, which was a subtle evolution of ‘Emotions’ previous logo, yet perpetrating our leadership as a Concierge Destination Management Company.
Our new identity demonstrated a clear visual change without losing the meaning, heritage, or power of recognition of our initial identity that has been built up over the last six years from 2012 to 2018.
Our choice to include ‘The tree of life’ in our new design is highly symbolic and is so much significant to our vision, values and scopes.
In addition to the above with an increasing portfolio of high end partners, we also created a sub brand, called ‘O’ Chic by emotions!’
O’Chic is our label reflecting a high-end elevated service, where luxury, exclusivity, discretion and accessibility blend flawlessly.
We offer unique travel experiences and custom curated itineraries.
Today, with our 70 team members, ‘Emotions’ addresses the bottlenecks of a traditional ground handler through the uniqueness of its services, whilst earmarking on the authenticity of the destination.
From our main feeder markets which are France, UK, Russia, Central Europe, Reunion island and Africa, we welcome approximately 20,000 passengers yearly from both FIT & MICE segments.
We also form part of IAGTO and are a member of The House of Beyond & Tourism Professional Association.
We have also recently been awarded ‘Most trusted International Tourism & Hospitality Service Provider 2023’ by MEA Market magazine during the African Excellence Awards
